HARMONY XL PRO™ LASER DYE VL / DYE SR

The team at Mediface Aesthetics will take a detailed look at your concerns and the individual condition of your skin, to determine whether this treatment will benefit you. Harmony XL PRO™ DYE VL and DYE SR can be used on most untanned skin types and vascular/pigmented lesions; however, prior to treatment a consultation will be carried out where you will be asked to give informed consent, and a test patch will be carried out at least 24 hours before your first treatment.

The Harmony XL PRO™ DYE VL and SR is clinically proven to be both safe and effective. It is always advisable to have these procedures performed by a skilled and trained medical professional to ensure a safe outcome. The procedure itself uses approved technologies and any concerns can be discussed with Mediface Aesthetics’ medically trained team, prior to treatment.

During Harmony XL PRO™ DYE VL / SR treatment, you will feel the warmth of the laser pass over your skin, but the cooling mechanism will help to make this more comfortable for you.

The treated area may feel warm after treatment and it is normal to have some redness, some darkening of pigment or veins (this is a good sign) and you may experience some soreness which can last up to 24 hours.

Immediately following treatment, you may experience a mild warmth, swelling and redness in the area, which will settle quickly.

You can return to work immediately.

However, we do recommend that you:

• Apply SPF 30 or above daily
• Avoid heat treatments on your face for 24 hours
• Avoid sun exposure 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks following treatment.
• Do not scrub or use harsh exfoliants on the skin which may have scabbed or formed a crust.
• Do keep the skin hydrated and allow the skin to naturally exfoliate the crusts over the following 7-14 days.
• For vascular lesions, be very gentle with the skin in the 48 hours following treatment, avoid any activities that could cause the vessels to dilate for 48 hours.
